Hi everyone! I’m happy to share a new project I worked up with my dear friends at Scout Books— they’ve recently unveiled a new artist series with full-color covers, and I was lucky enough to be the first artist they invited into the project. So I came up with a set of three lushly illustrated animal covers: leafy sea dragons, lemurs, and lyrebirds, oh my! (huh: I alliterated with these and only now just realized it!)

They retail for $10 for a three-pack on Scout Books’ site— please spread the word and consider snapping up a pack or two. They’d make lovely stocking stuffers!

I read the following anon comment today on your thread. “I noticed something: when I listen to instrumental music, not classical but more like a soundtrack, I can focus more easily on a task than when there’s a lyrical music anywhere in the background. Lyrics, even if they’re in a foreign language that I cannot understand, make me overthink, while an instrumental music—especially one that isn’t monotonic—keeps me from back noises that will distract me but also focused on the task. I recommend you all to give it a try!”

it is true and has been scientifically proven in case studies.
